2011 Exam Term 1 Grade: B3
2011 Exam Term 2 Grade: A1

Current term:
Target Grade: A1
Results obtained:
Test 1: 35

Test 2: 32

Reflections for Test 1:
I was quite happy with my results because this test was rather hard and I was the second in class. However, I realised that I had to get another 35 for the second test if I wanted my overall score to be above 80%, which meant that I may get a possibility of exemption for math. After thinking for awhile, I realised that I was very careless in my questions and if I had practiced a little more, I could have gotten question 3 correct, which was the main killer for everybody. I was also quite fortunate, because this test had been moderated, and if not I would have gotten 33 instead of 35.

Reflections for Test 2:
I was very disappointed with my results because this meant that I would not be able to get my exemption for math anymore, or basically meant that I have almost 0% chance of getting exemption for math. Even though I got 80% for this test, I am not very happy because this test was supposed to be easier. I did not see some properties for the triangles, mainly the Alternate Segment Theorem, which costed me 4 marks. If I had gotten that question correct, I would have got 35, making me eligible for exemption. However, taking the test is not so bad after all. It prepares me for the stress faced in "A" levels, hence I feel that this is a good opportunity to shine.
